New Zealand government announced on Aug 9 2024 their intentions to increase immigration fees and levies beginning October 1, 2024. These fees and levies are what makes up the visa charges or commonly called visa application fees
Many visa application fees will be affected by these increase. Find below table I created that gives and overview of current and new rates as well as the percentage increases.

Note that this rates are for grouped into three bands. Visa applications submitted in New Zealand pay Band A rates which includes GST. Applicants from Pacific countries pay Band B rates. From my observations, if you’re from the Pacific and submit your application in New Zealand, you’ll pay Band A rates unless the visa is a Pacific focused visa. Lastly, applications submitted outside both regions pay Band C rates. If you are from the Pacific, you’ll pay Band B rates in this scenario

Band B – Pacific rates
Band C – rest of the world
Note: this prices will vary depending on your country of citizenship and location when you apply and in some cases mode of application as well as any other criteria associated with the visa.
